Eko Viciana was formed in 2007 by a group of enthusiastic young people with a clear vision for the sensitization of the public to protect nature and the environment as well as the participation of civil society in this matter.
We have a staff members as well as volunteers and collaborators who are willing to join us to work and lobby for environmental issues.
The members (15) are often assisted in their work by volunteers (more than 50).
Goals
The organization was founded intentional for:
- Avocation on environment refinement,
- Large campaigns for Information, Education and Communication (IEC)
- Nature and Environment protection
- Biodiversity protection,
- Promotion of the public rights according to the Aarhus Convention: access to information, participation in decision –making process and access to justice,
- Eco-tourism,
- Forest protection from non controlled logging and their re-cultivation.
- The waste management,
- Etc
To fulfill its goals, the organization will initiate, but not limited to, postscript activities:
